Trust Fund Single Review – Dreams

It’s been a matter of months since the release of Trust Fund’s debut album, No One’s Coming For Us, but they’re back with new single Dreams and are joined by former Joanna Gruesome vocalist Alanna McArdle.

Dreams is another release on Cardiff based label Turnstile, but this time Ellis Jones has opted for a more polished sound by bringing in Hookworms’ MJ as producer. However, the sound of this single is still his distinctive brand of power pop that generated so much excitement for his debut.

This is short, bright and breezy with McArdle’s additional vocals riding the waves of the bouncing guitar riff. Dreams is surf-infused guitar pop at its best and perfect for jumping around to on a summer day.
