New Epitaph signing Teenage Wrist share the colourful video for latest single Swallow.

Formed in 2015, the L.A.-based trio of Kamtin Mohager (bass, vocals), Marshall Gallagher (guitar, vocals), and Anthony Salazar (drums) made their debut with EP Dazed in the same year. Not a band to rest on their laurels, they’ve signed to Epitaph and have confirmed that an album release is imminent. According to the band, “for us, signing to Epitaph felt like the thing that was always supposed to happen for this band. We all grew up with the label and know how important their influence has been on the alternative and punk scene. To now be a part of it is truly a dream come true!”

“I think those songs really set the tone for what the album is about and show the darker and more aggressive side of the band,” says Gallagher of Swallow and previous single Stoned, Alone,.

Mohager’s dreamy vocals melt into the lo-fi guitar to create a shimmering shoegaze track that will delight those that like their emo to have a grungy edge. The hazy performance-led video features bursts of distorted colour to reflect the riffs.

If you’re longing for some 90s emo nostalgia, look no further.
